Lightning Safety Solutions, LLC ("Lightning Safety Solutions," "we," "us," or "our") operates the website lightningsafetysolutions.com (the "Site") to provide information about our lightning protection and surge protection services, and to allow visitors to request free quotes, schedule inspections, and contact us by phone, email, or web form (collectively, the "Services"). This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and disclose personal information when you visit the Site, request a quote, communicate with us, or otherwise interact with our Services.

4. Text Messaging (SMS) Communications

If you opt in to receive text messages from Lightning Safety Solutions (e.g., appointment reminders, quote follow-ups, or promotional messages), we collect your mobile phone number and your consent/opt-in status for that purpose.

No mobile information will be shared with third parties/affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. All other categories of personal information we collect exclude text messaging originator opt-in data and consent — this information will not be shared with any third parties for any purpose.

You can opt out of receiving text messages at any time by replying "STOP" to any message you receive from us, or by contacting us using the information in Section 12.

5. How We Disclose Personal Information

We may disclose personal information to:

  • Service providers who help us operate our business, such as our website host/platform (Shopify), CRM and scheduling tools, payment processors, financing partners, and SMS/texting platform providers.
  • Affiliates, if applicable, within our corporate group.
  • Legal and safety purposes, including to comply with law, respond to legal process, or protect the rights, property, or safety of Lightning Safety Solutions, our customers, or others.
  • In connection with a business transaction, such as a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets.

We do not sell your personal information to third parties, and we do not share your mobile phone number or SMS consent/opt-in data with any third party for marketing or lead-generation purposes.

6. Website Hosting Platform

Our Site is built and hosted using Shopify's website platform. Shopify may collect certain technical and usage information about your visit to help us operate and improve the Site. Global Privacy Control (GPC): If you visit our Site with a browser or extension that sends the Global Privacy Control signal enabled, we will treat this as a valid request to opt out of the sharing of your personal information for targeted advertising purposes for that browser/device, to the extent required by applicable law.
